ITO EN maintains a strict quality control structure with which it assures the safety of products through all processes, from ingredients through manufacturing and distribution. For raw ingredients we require quality assurance statements from suppliers around the world, conduct inspections of cultivation, processing and management in production areas, and use safe ingredients that comply with laws and regulations. At the ingredient and manufacturing stage our Quality Control Department and production facilities inspect ingredients for flavor, instrumental analysis, microorganisms and residual pesticides. Products are manufactured at plants that meet the quality control standards outlined in our Drink and Tea Leaf Production Guidelines. We also share information and hold quality control meetings with plant managers as we strive for safer and more reliable products.
